I'm Emily,

a 30-something writer, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), and mom of two.

โ€ฆwith a thing for Jesus (proud Catholic here!), crisp autumn mornings, Champagne, and the Oxford Comma (also a former English major). Born in South Louisiana and raised in East Texas, Iโ€™ve always been a southern girlโ€”but my meandering heart was made for Parisian cafรฉs, Tuscan vineyards, and English countryside cottages. I would spend my whole life traveling Europe if I could, snapping photographs and learning to speak French as I go.

My husband and I moved from Downtown Houston to the โ€˜burbs of Dallas in 2017 and have since welcomed our (now) five-year-old son, Jude, and three-year-old daughter, Ayla. When Iโ€™m not chasing my babies around our cul-de-sac or channelling my wellness obsession into helping women feel their best, you can usually catch me at a local coffee shopโ€”nose-deep in a riveting mystery novel or plugging away at my next blog post.

A few fun facts...

I collect snow globes from around the world, and I have several from the beach on the left.

My birthday is October 28th, so naturally, Iโ€™m obsessed with all things Halloween.

I have an aversion to small talk and no awkward filter, which makes for interesting conversations.
