Giving thanks in Leadville.

This week, I'm especially thankful for:

• airplane windows

• vibrant fall colors and snow-blanketed mountains

• touch football with my big brother

• pumpkin pie and cold milk

• fireplaces with remote controls

• God's guiding hand in every decision my parents make

• and a warm home to come back to.
