Interior design has never been one of my talents, but I'm actually really proud of how Jude's nursery turned out! We started with the wall color: Regardless of our baby's gender, we knew we wanted something calming yet fun, which is why we landed on this aqua blue (called "tidewater" by Behr).

When we found out we were having a boy, we decided to accent with white, navy, and grey. My mom found the polka dot curtains and the grey rug from Marshall's, and we registered for/ordered everything else in white (crib, dresser, end table, floating shelves) from Amazon.

From there, we just filled in the gaps! We both loved the idea of adventuring, so we opted for travel-themed accessories like the world play mat, hot air balloon mobile and watercolor painting, and the wooden sailboat. It was Scott's idea to add cloud decals to the rounded wall, and luckily, my sister-in-law is proficient in the art of die-cutting—so she kindly offered to create both those and his name for us.
