I'm Emily, a 32-year-old writer, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), and mom of two.

...with a thing for bookstores, Champagne, and the first day of fall. Now that we’re introduced, feel free to call me Emmy. (Most of my friends and family do.)

Born in South Louisiana and raised in East Texas, I’m a southern girl through and through—but my meandering heart was made for Parisian cafés, Tuscan vineyards, and English countryside cottages. I would spend my whole life traveling Europe if I could, snapping photographs and learning to speak French as I go.

My husband and I moved from Downtown Houston to the ‘burbs of Dallas in 2017 and have since welcomed our (now) 4-year-old son, Jude, and 2-year-old daughter, Ayla. When I’m not chasing toddlers around our cul-de-sac or channelling my wellness obsession into helping women feel their best, you can usually catch me at a local coffee shop—nose-deep in a riveting mystery novel or plugging away at my next blog post.
